linux-like middle click pasting (copying what's highlighted)

Hi there
Would love for a feature for both OSX and Windows
to mimic exactly the linux way of copying highlighted text and pasting using the middle click (or two button pasting)

Perhaps a linux expert in your team might be famaliar with what I'm trying to explain.
It speeds up productivity significantly!
