well, another day, another problem with Parallels Desktop. On my final release I've created VM's for SuSE 10.1 and Fedora Core 5, both of which freeze when I shut them down. This didn't happen for me when I was using RC2. Any ideas on a fix? Thanks!

    Don't use Suse 10.1

    Greetings,

I am afraid you have to stick to SuSE 10.0 for the moment... at least I was unable to get
    10.1 to work.

    Cheers,
    Henrik

At what point do they freeze? Are you shutting down, or suspending?

I have Ubuntu 6.06 and CentOS 4.3 here, and neither seems to have any issues. My routine generally has me shutting down the Ubuntu VM, and suspending the CentOS VM.

(CentOS is basically RHEL without the proprietary bits, so it's a close cousin to Fedora.)

Are you mounting anything via NFS?
