Logic 5.5 and X-station novation soundcard

Hey everybody.

I have a problem, I hope someone can help me.

I using parallels to run windows on a macbook and have installed logic 5.5. Logic runs fine. The problem is my soundcard, a Novation X-station. I have installed the drivers for the soundcard and chosen the soundcard in Logic, no problem. But when I open logic I get this message:
ASIO: Hardware is mailfuncting (-999)

Hope someone can help me?

You say that you are running logic 5.5 on a macbook... if you have a modern system, why would you run something as dated as logic 5.5? out of the box thats not a good mix. and if i understand right, you are running logic for windows on a mac. illogical.... apple bought emagic a few years ago, and logic 8 is rock solid optimized to run native on your system.

as for the x-station, i have recently purchased one as well, and generally have great results using it with logic 8 on a mere G4 pb. My advice, upgrade logic to at least v7, and upgrade your novation drivers/firmware, and you should be rocking out.
