Lost Win7 VM after Time Machine rollback

I apologize if this has been asked and answered. A search did not help...

I did a rollback with Time Machine. Parallels was set to NOT backup with TM [lesson learned]. The VMs are gone but everything else [apps, data, folders, etc.] are still on the restored internal drive and appear to be fine. IDK why they were backed up but not the VM. I reinstalled Parallels 10, but of course it can't find Win 7. Now to my question:
I still have the Parallels cable I used to do the original install of Parallels back around version 4 IIRC, but I'm reading I can't use that anymore. Is this correct? I can't find the original install disk and V4 is not available for DL. I don't know how to get that OS over to my iMac. Hoping someone has a way. I have the Win7 install desk from my laptop. Will that work without hurting my laptop validation?

I appreciate any help.
Thanks

Hello Thom Ebersole,
If you cannot find any Virtual Machine(.pvm) file on the Mac then you might have to create a new Virtual Machine. To migrate your Windows machine refer to this article.
