    Hi,

I downloaded two different preinstalled linux distributions from the parallels website - anything works fine so far.
But.. when I connect one of my local folders via Prallels Tools to the Linux Guest OS and try to do a 'ls' in the linux terminal.. it's extremly slow.

In my folder are about 300 files, the ls takes a few minutes before I get the results..

I then tried a 'make' (the 300 files are sourcecode).. and that was also extremly slow... I canceled it after about 30minutes.. (on my mac these 300 files need about 2 minutes to compile).

So, am I doing something wrong?
Or is there any other - faster - way to access a directory on my mac from within linux?
