lsass.exe problem in Windows XP SP2 VM

when i ran my VM I received the following message:
"
[ lsass.exe Application error ]
the application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click on OK to terminate the application.
"

when I clicked OK the message disappears and a still black screen continues to view
What should I do to solve to problem

Virus infection, or Windows corruption

I suppose you need to perform Windows repair
