Lync for Windows Dock Bar Notification

in Windows when someone contacts me via Lync, I get a notification to know that someone's contacted me. I prefer Lync for Windows, but when running it in Parallels, I don't get that notification. It just shows the Lync icon in the dock and I have to go check from time to see if anyone has pinged me.

Anyone know of a way to get a notification on the dock when running Lync for Windows?
 
Ran into the same issue and chose to go back to Lync for Mac. It's not as feature rich. I have not tried Parallels 9 yet and not sure if this is fixed. I too would love to use Lync for Windows due to the integration of Office.
