Mac Pro 2 Dvd drives not recognized

I have 2 SONY DVD RW DW-D150A with the Mac Pro (it seemd cheap enough so I got the 2nd drive). I cannot get parallels to see both DVD drives or I cannot get it to see the 2nd DVD.
I can get it to see the 1st one. I tried changing the ide settings but maybe I missed the correct setting.

Is anybody else having this problem?:D
 
I am also having the same problem.

I have consulted Windows people, written Parallel people and no one seems to have a solution.

I have wasted so many hours of time trying hundreds of different things.

I just about given up.
 
Just so you know, I have discovered that Parallels is not compatible with MacPro Sony 150A, even though they sold Parallels to me when I purchased my MacPro.

The Parallels software DVD drivers don't work. You will not find a 150A driver on Sony's website, you cannot upgrade the windows driver to get the DVD to work, Parallels updates don't work, all the suggestions posted on this forum don't work.

When will Parallels tell us the truth? We purchased bogus software.
