macOS 10.12.2 Beta (how to install in virtual machine?)

Has any one successfully created a virtual machine for guest macOS 10.12.2 Beta, where the beta version is a ".pkg" file?

What gets downloaded from Apple is disk image, containing a ".pkg" file which looks like this:

mac_OS_10_12_2_beta.jpg


Given an existing guest macOS 10.11.6 virtual machine, how would I install macOS 10.12.2 Beta into that virtual machine?
 
Easiest thing to do is create a vm using existing mac os then upgrade that vm to Sierra Developer Bata.
With your macOS Serra Developer Beta Access utility.pkg downloaded on your vm
You should be able to double click the installer package>once it is installed your app store should open>check under "Updates"
