    Hi,

Does anyone know if nested virtualization using the Parallels Hypervisor works on Sonoma as host OS running on Intel? Mac OS has warned that Parallels kernel extensions will be blocked for years in "an upcoming version" but never seems to just tell me if it's supported or not.

    Thanks!

    Hello!
Parallels hypervisor should work on Intel Mac computers running macOS Sonoma as a host operating system.

I don't see why it wouldn't on a compatible Intel machine.

Only because the Parallels hypervisor has been on death watch for years and Apple repeatedly warns that it won't be supported in future versions of the OS. So the past few MacOS upgrades have been a bit of "cross finger, hope best" kind of exercises. Apple's hypervisor doesn't support nested virtualization.
