Hello people,
My new Mac Pro finally turned up after a good 3-4 week wait. And the apple dealer fogot the extra RAM so I only got 1GB
Big problem is that one of the first things I did was install PARALLELS. Everything worked, windows was installed until I made the mistake of restarting the MacPro..... now the machine is stuffed, I get a grey screen of death withing 30-60 seconds on boot up every time
Eventually worked out how to boot into safe mode (gotta get out the wired keyboard) and uninstalled parallels and the thing is quite happy.
What I don't understand is how this so called "release candidate" can claim to support a MacPro when there are such massive problems. I get the fact this is a beta junk, but this is just pointless.
Note, I am already a paid up customer, so won't be making any threats about not opening my wallet.
