Another tid bit for the devs:

VMware beta runs at 44 megs of real memory with a virtual 432 megs out of 512 megs allocated for its xp session, processor is stable at 1.2 percent or less.

Parallels runs at about 300 megs of main memory with Windows XP Pro and a virtual of 2.31 gig when its only setup to use 512.

CPU in parallels sits at about 25-50% all the time.

So the challenge I pose to Parallels is to do like VMWare and get down under 50 megs of real memory, under 500 megs of virtual memory and less then 5% of CPU utilization.
