I have a MacBook Pro with Mac OS X version 10.4.8. I have installed Parallels Desktop for Mac, Microsoft Windows XP (Home Edition) and Microsoft Office (2003 Editions.)
Whenever I power on the virtual machine and Windows XP desktop appears, the following Parallels Desktop message appears:
"Problem with Network Adapter is detected. Please check if network cable is connected to the physical network adapter attached to the virtual machine."
I'm given the choice of clicking on "OK" or checking a box that says "Don't ask me again."
Being technically challenged, I don't understand the above. I tried to arrange for pay per call technical assistance from Parallels, but I couldn't get through by phone. I'm still waiting to hear from a technical support person. Can some one in the forum offer some suggestions in the meantime?
