Messed up, Now Tools won't upgrade or uninstall

I upgraded my boot camp VM to 3.0 to try it out and decided to downgrade back to 2.5. I forgot to uninstall the tools in the 3.0 VM first and when the mouse didn't work right in 2.5 I tried to uninstall the tools there, which locked up. I then reinstalled 3.0 trial in it wouldn't uninstall the tools either. Nor would it complete a fresh install of the tools, always locking up. Then Boot Camp wouldn't boot, so I did a Repair install of XP in Bootcamp. Now Parallels 3.0 won't even boot.

I can't get the stupid tools off and don't feel like completely reinstalling XP from scratch to get rid of the Parallels Tools. Why can't I uninstall the Parallels Tools in Bootcamp? Help, please. I'm at whits end and *need* to be able to run windows *somehow*. Am I going to have to reinstall anyway?

Oh well, reinstalled Windows and that fixed it, (of course).
