I have a Macbook Pro 16GB RAM running Lion. 4GB allocated to Windows 7 under Parallels Desktop 9 and can report very good experience.
InfoSelect response very fast. Money Version 14 (UK) functions fault free, but switching between accounts can sometimes occur instantly but at others can delay 15 to 20 seconds. Windows on these occasions reports Money not responding (cause an App Crash) so one opts to wait and eventually it responds. It seems obvious that disk access is involved. Does any other user experience the same delays or have they solved the problem. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi, I have exactly the same problem and had come here looking to see if anyone else had!

My setup is MacBook Air (new model from July 2013) originally with Mountain Lion now with Mavericks. I have Parallels 8 - I missed Parallels 9 by a few days (they want more money for Parallels 9, which they won't be getting - especially as you've now confirmed this problem does not go away under 9). Since July I've set up both Windows XP and Windows 7 VM's for Money to run under, and I've fiddled around throwing more Memory & CPU at the VM's than they could possibly need. Can't find anything to make the problem go away.

Very frustrating as Money is otherwise working perfectly, and running it in a Windows VM is a nice solution.

Hi, I have some good news and some bad news. Bad news is that I upgraded to Parallels 10 and I tried to install a W10 vm not realising it would overwrite my W7 m/c rather than give me a separate vm. Nothing would work. So reinstalled W7 and Money and Infoselect and, lo and behold, all my problems with Money have disappeared. No more W7 App Hangs and responds instantly. Unintended consequences, what can I say. Was it Parallels 10 or W7 reinstall or both?
