Microsoft Word Touch Bar does not work

Hey everybody,
I have a problem concerning Microsoft Word on my MacBook Pro M1 (2020): Word itself is working fine. But the Touch Bar is doing crazy things. Whenever I click on "bold" in the Touch Bar, Word only changes from left-aligned to justified. The letters do not change. And if I click on "italic" oder "underlining", nothing changes at all (at least I do not see anything).
Also other Touch Bar buttons trigger wrong reactions of Word. For example "undo" makes "repeat" and the other way round.

Does anyone have an idea what to do about it? This way I can't use the Touch Bar at all...

I have installed the latest version of both, Word and Parallels and did not do any changes in the settings.
