Migrate from a real Windows XP to a virtual Parallels environment with Clonezilla: ?

Hi,
I need to migrate a real Windows XP machine in a virtual Windows XP Parallel Desktop enviroment. Specifically, I must perform a physical-to-virtual system migration using an image-based method: does Parallel Desktop support this migration?

My goal is similar aka "Migrate to a virtual Linux environment with Clonezilla" Ting Li - an IBM Software Engineer - article: see http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/l...sletter-_-10731_112121&cmibm_em=dm:0:13625086 : is it possible? Can/must I to use open source Clonezilla Live cloning software to convert my physical machine to a virtual one?

Is this a real workflow?
1.) real Windows XP machine / CLONEZILLA: to obtain a real Windows XP machine image-based .iso;
2.) macbook / mac OS: to install MACFUSE and TUXERANTFS;
3.) macbook / mac OS / BOOTCAMP: to create a Windows NTFS partition;
4.) macbook / ??????? : to change logical unit assigned to Windows NTFS partition (from C: to x: where "x" is "D", "E", etc);
5.) macbook / mac OS / Parallel Desktop: to restore CLONEZILLA real Windows XP machine image-based .iso creating a virtual Windows XP Parallel Desktop machine in BOOTCAMP Windows NTFS partition;
6.) macbook / Parallel Desktop / virtual Windows XP Parallel Desktop machine: to update mac hardware drives.

Or this?
1.) real Windows XP machine / CLONEZILLA: aka previous;
2.) macbook / mac OS: aka previous;
3.) macbook / mac OS / BOOTCAMP: aka previous;
4.) macbook / ??????? : aka previous;;

Hi q.f.m,
it is better to use Parallels Transporter for this purpose (migrate physical to virtual). Parallels Transporter will migrate physical machine to virtual HDD that can be used in Parallels Desktop for Mac. Please check:

I've a doubt: I see this "Warning: Product re-activation may be required in order to migrate some software applications." (at http://download.parallels.com/desktop/v5/docs/en/Parallels_Transporter_Users_Guide/index.htm "Migrating From a Remote Computer Using an External Storage Device") and I need some infor about these risks (CLONEZILLA image-based and VMWare don't expose to these risks).

yes, Windows reactivation might be required. When physical machine is migrated to virtual machine, Parallels Desktop provides new (virtual) hardware. Since Windows activation is bound to specific hardware, you might be prompted to reactivate Windows. Another products behave in the same way.
