I recently got a second laptop and sync between the two. Having run the migration assistant from one to the other, I can't get the VM to work in one machine.
I migrated from a MacBook Pro, where the Windows install was initiated, along with all updates and additional software.
Presumably when this image was migrated to the MacBook - which has a different hardware config - Parallels didn't like it. The application opens briefly - icon appears in desktop then immediately disappears (but no crash log).
I'm after advice as to how I can migrate the image from the MacBook Pro to the MacBook. I don't really want to rebuild an image from scratch if I can avoid it.
[And I'll be sure not to attempt to sync the VM images after that point!]
