first of all: thank you! This is a really great product!
Coming from a Windows/IBM Thinkpad world I purchased my Mac on Saturday. Today I'm running my migrated VM in super boost performance mode
) And: the usability is just astonishing - magic! That's fun.
Anyhow there were some obstacles in the way:
> My old laptop had some bad sectors on its HDD
> Parrallels Agent stopped the migration process with an error statement that it could not read the HDD
> So I used a converter of a well-known competitor - this product luckily skipped the bad blocks and created the VM
> Finally - due to the ability of Parallels to migrate third party VMs - I converted the VM to Parallels standard
So: Please integrate the functionality to skip bad blocks or similar into your agent! That would be really nice (and competitive ;-)
