I am running Ubuntu 6.06 with no problems at all to mention. However, after attempting to install Jazler on a Windows XP SP2 VM - the VM crashed and now when I attempt to start it - I get the following...

Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
    <Windows root>\system32\hal.dll.
Please re-install a copy of the above file.

What do I do? I don't want to loose all the information I have on the VM at this point - just began putting it together!

    Thanks!

Try to run your WinXP VM in safe mode and raplace that file with good one from WinXP installation disk.
