Missing or corrupt ntoskrnl.exe

    I am not able to start Windows XP on my Parallels Desktop. I get the following message:

    Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
    <Windows root>\system32\ntoskrnl.exe.
    Please re-install a copy of the above file.

    I have a MacBook Pro (Mac OS 10.6.1) and am running Parallels Desktop 4.0 Build 4.0.3844.
