In preparation for Leopard, I cloned my Windows XP virtual machine and backed up the folder the clone created to my usb drive.

I then proceeded to do a clean install of Leopard and the latest version of Parallels. Parallels works as well as I need it to, but it prompts me when I start the vm that it can't find unattended.fdd. And, indeed, it's not in the backup of the clone folder - so it was never created.

Not having it doesn't seem to impact me in any way. Windows XP is running just fine. And, I can turn off the error prompt when I start up. But, should I have done something differently to backup my virtual machine before wiping my hard drive for Leopard?
