I have been running AccountEdge Pro in a Parallels Mojave virtual machine for a few years with no issues at all. I keep an alias in the virtual machine to the program data file that that is stored on my non-virtual machine...launching the alias to the data file will launch the AccountEdge Pro program in the virtual machine. Again, this has worked fine for years. Mojave and Safari were recently updated...I believe this was the 2021-004 update. After installing the update on the Mojave virtual machine the alias doesn't work properly...it doesn't launch the AccountEdge Program but it launches a maintenance facility that is part of AccountEdge Pro. Something in the update isn't right or the virtual machine isn't accounting for a change made in the update. If I use a version of the virtual machine before the update the alias works fine. Anyone else seeing any change to alias behavior when running Parallels? Apple issue or Parallels problem?
