Monitor going to sleep

I am running build 3186. When my VM is in full screen mode and windows shuts down it will put the monitor to sleep. It will keep trying to go into sleep mode for several minutes before finally dropping back into the mac OS. Or if I shut down coherence mode it will try to go to sleep when I quit parallels.
This started happening afte build 3105 iirc. I am on a Mac Pro 2ghz with 1g ram, the monitor is a HP2335. Any help or advice is appreciated.
 
3186 does not respond when I shut off and then turn on my monitor

I am running build 3186. When I shut off my monitor (which has a USB hub built in), and turn my monitor back on, my VM is hung. I cannot use my mouse and keyboard (attached via a USB hub different than the monitor). I can still use my mouse and keyboard with the host OS X apps, but not with the windowed VM. I can switch my VM to fullscreen and back to windows using the parallels menu bar, but when I select Coherence, nothing happens.

I am running on an Intel macmini with a Dell 24" monitor.

Any thoughts?
