    Hi

I have searched the forum and cannot find a solution.

I want to MOUNT my Boot Camp partition as drive D so I can read/write the drive for backup purposes.

Does anyone know how to do this or if it is even possible!

    Can anyone help?

I found something in the manual and have now added the bootcamp partition s another drive BUT when ever I try to boot my VM I get a multiple windows partitions are found error.

It refers me to Parallels website where I cannot find out anything about it?

    HELP PELASE.

    Okay.

Finally figured out how to add my Boot Camp partition as an extra hard drive.

    2 Problems.

    1. I cannot Pause the VM, even though I am only using Bootcamp as a hard drive not a boot drive!

    2. Paralells crashed on my when shutting down the session.

I really want to be able to access this drive is there any other way?

    Cheers.

I am guessing that the boot camp partition is ntfs? If not then you could just have it as a shared folder so you can read write to it from within Parallels.

Even if it is ntfs, you could try mounting it with ntfs-3g under OSX for read/write support and then sharing it out:
