I'm seeing this strange issue when I'm running this program called "Altium Designer". Seems to me that when I'm doing certain things in the program, it starts to register my mouse release as another click, essentially causing a double click with a single click.
This also happens with the macbook's track pad's physical click as well. If I just do the "tap" it recognize as one click but if I actually press the track pad, it has the double click problem.
    I'm running Altium 20 on windows 10 with Parallel 14 and I'm using a 2019 MacBook Pro.

  2. Hi Min-ShiH. Please provide the macOS version on which you are using Parallels Desktop 14 for Mac.

    MacOS Version: 10.15.5
I've also tried Parallel 15, as well as 13 and Altium 17, 18, 19. Same problem persists.

Don't think this is the problem here. Here're my reasons:
    1. this only happens to a certain program.
    2. repeatable and not random.
    3. it's the release of the button that registers as the second click.

  6. Start the virtual machine, select Actions (from the Mac menu bar) -> Configure -> Hardware -> Keyboard & Mouse and set the Mouse option to 'Optimize or Don't optimize for games' and check if it works fine in any one the settings.

    It's worth ruling it out.
It may be that the application itself is reprogramming the Windows repeat rate, and this is what actually gives the problem. I've seen this in the past with one particular application, that would repeatedly give 'double clicks' using a digitiser pen, when nothing else did. After lots of 'back and forth' with the program authors it eventually came out that they were changing the double tap rate in their code, and that the pen release was being detected as another tap... :(

I've tried this already and by switching to optimize for games, it just made my pointer move faster. Neither options solved the problem

I have the exact same issue and it is extremely annoying. It got worse in Version 17.1.2. Is there a solution to this problem? I need to fix this urgently!
