can you explain exactly how to "connecting the wireless mouse directly to parallels instead of via mac OS"?
Parallels uses the devices connect on MAC via bluetooth, right?

I'm on the latest version of Parallels v18. Re-installed Win11 thru their one-click process with Stable (or Production) version of Win11 after MS announced Parallel as official Win11 emulator on Mac. Not the Win11 thru Preview or Dev channel. There is no more MX3 mouse issue!

Could you share a link or brief description on how you re-installed win11?

    Greetings JustinM10,
    Thank you for your message.
Simply follow the steps outlined in the article: https://kb.parallels.com/125375
After that, check the mouse performance.
If the issue does persist, collect a technical report (click Parallels icon || > Help > Send technical data > check "Attach screenshots..." > press Send Report) and send the report's 9-digit ID in a reply message. (https://kb.parallels.com/9058 )
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

This is a less than helpful response. Windows 11 is already installed.

MX Masters 3S, MBP M1 max.
Same scrolling issue here. Sure, it could be the scroll wheel, though it also happens with the built in trackpad.

I am running Windows 11 ARM via Parallels Desktop 20.1.0 Pro. Scrolling with the wheel on my Magic Mouse had been normal for years until recently scrolling slowed to a crawl on Parallels, but vertical and horizontal scrolling was normal in macOS applications. Reinstalling Parallels Tools fixed the issue for me. Thanks for all the great suggestions in this thread.

I have tried reinstalling tools in my Windows 11 Arm VM and it has not fixed the mouse scrolling issue. Rebooting the VM will sometimes makes it better.
This just started with the most recent parallels update. It is making it very difficult to get my Job done when I can't scroll.
    Version 20.1.0 (55732)
    MacOS: 15.0.1 (24A348)

Update to my previous comment... While reinstalling Parallels Tools fixed the issue, I discovered that after shutting down and restarting my virtual machine, the scrolling issue appears again. And reinstalling Parallels Tools fixes it again, but it seems to only last for the duration of that VM session. I'm wondering if there is a bug somewhere that needs squashing. I'm running Parallels Desktop 20.1.0 Pro, Windows 11 Pro ARM 24H2, OS Build 26100.2152, Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.32.0.

Updating Parallels Desktop 20.1.0 Pro to 20.1.1 did not fix the issue. A fresh boot of my MacBook Pro and a fresh start/restart of Parallels Desktop does not seem to work, but reinstalling Parallels Tools and restarting seems to reliably remedy the issue for that one VM session. But after restarting (without reinstalling Parallels Tools), the scrolling issue recurs. Mentioning this for viewers of this thread and also in the hopes that Parallels reads this and fixes the issue.

I'm now finding this issue. At first I thought it was from Crossover somehow interfering with driver support, but now seems unrelated. Scrolling and zooming is very slow on any mouse I plug in after the 20.1.1 update.

I have the same issue @VictorL15. This is only happening after upgrading to either 24H2 or the latest version of Parallels. Never had the issue before. I contacted support and they asked me to reinstall Parallels Tools. That seemed to fix the problem, but it reappears. This is with no mouse, only using the laptop's (MacBook Air M3 15") with the latest 15.1 Sequoia and all the updates on Windows 11 24H2. Latest version of Parallels, too.

Any updates from @parallels support? Yes, the reinstallation of Parallels Tools does work briefly, temporarily, but then it goes back to not working.

I've had lots of back and forth with Parallels support. They asked me to do a number of things including resetting the VM and reinstalling Parallels Tools, uninstalling and freshly installing Parallels Tools, modifying the <SmoothScrolling> parameter in the config.pvs file, and downgrading Parallels to 20.0.1 (when I was not having the scrolling issue). None of those approaches have fixed the scrolling issue for me. What remains consistent is that I can reinstall Parallels Tools, and that allows me to temporarily scroll, but upon rebooting the Windows 11 VM, the scrolling issue recurs. Pretty frustrating. I'll report back if/when we figure out a permanent fix.

Same problem over here. Reinstalling toolbox helps, only for 1 session. 24h2, please resolve!
