Moving files between Mac OS and my virtual machine.

One of the advertised features of Parallels Desktop for Mac is "Coherence Mode," or the ability to move files between the host OS and the virtual machine, correct? Currently, I have three virtual machines set up: Ubuntu, Kubuntu and openSUSE. None of them seem to allow me to install the Parallels Tools, which I would assume is how I move files between the various operating systems. Does Coherence Mode only work with Windows, or must I do something else to get it working?

You're right.
Parallels Tools are developed only for Windows. Tools for Linux are planned but I can't say when you can see and use it..
