Moving to a New mac and license key not willing to transfer

I got a new mac 2022 from work and bought parallels on it, I want to move the account I bought to my personal account MacBook pro 2017 , I followed the steps, Logged in, Inserted the activation key which was accepted and click "deactivate on other device and activate on this device" but I got this error

Unable to perform the operation.
This license key is associated with another Parallels account. Please sign in using this account and try again.
