MP3 Playback problem Vista Business (Parallels build 1970)

I just created a VM for Windows Vista Business edition using Parallels build 1970 using the 'auto' Vista VM install. I am running it on a MacBook Pro 2.16 Core 2 Duo w/ 2 GB RAM. I dedicated 1 GB of RAM to the Vista VM. Parallels seems to run Vista better than expected! However, I am having a problem with MP3 playback using Windows Media Player 11 for Vista. The audio constantly stutters and is unlistenable. Does anyone have similar problems? Were you able to fix it? Thanks for reading!

Jay,
I'm having the same problem, and it appears you have the exact same computer setup as me. Have you found a solution since your post? I am also having a problem typing in Pandora.com (may be a flash issue, haven't had much time to play with it.) I can say this, though, iTunes for Windows works perfect... imagine that.

It seems to me that someone else reported a similar issue in re: to WMP 11 within XP. You might want to search the forums using MP3 or WMP as a keyword.
