Hello :
I have been trying to install MS Server 2003 Enterprise R2 with SP2 and it will not detect the NIC on my MiniMac.
I can log on to Server on SafeMode. But it gives an error message about "A problem is preventing Windows from accurately checking the license," if I try a normal boot , and then it logs me off. SafeMode with Networking does not work, either.
It appears to detect the NIC during installation because it asks that I check the cable, if I unplug it, and the light is ON at the router for its port.
I was able to install Tools and its NIC drivers, but something I noticed is that the Marvel 88E8053 does not appear on the Compatibility List at MS and if I try to have MS Server install a NIC, it detects a different version of the RealTek NIC (not the 8029).
I have tried SharedNetworking, BridgedEthernet as well as the AirPort NIC, but nothing works.
Help !
How does one install a NIC driver ? Or is it an issue of my version of Server ?
Thanks in advance.
