I have just installed Parallels Desktop 5. Previously I had run my VMs using VMWare where I was able to easily run both Windows XP and Windows 7 from two different Bootcamp partitions that were on two separate physical hard disks. I cannot seem to find a way to do this with Parallels. I'm very new to Parallels but have searched for an answer with no luck.
My current configurations are as follows:
1. Host is MacPro with Snow Leopard
2. I have three physical hard disks, first is running Snow Leopard, second running Windows XP (Bootcamp) and third running Windows 7 (Bootcamp).
- Previously when running VMWare Fusion 3, I was able to run both Windows XP and Windows 7 natively using Bootcamp as well as via VMWare.
- After loading Desktop 5, Parallels automatically found the Windows XP Bootcamp partition and I was able to run it via Desktop 5. However, I cannot seem to find way to ALSO run Windows 7 Bootcamp from Parallels.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
