I have recently upgraded to Parallels 5 running Windows XP on a Mac with Snow Leopard. During Windows startup and periodically afterward I receive an error message as follows: Connection Failed: The server 172.16.1.38 is available on your computer. Access the volumes and files locally.
I believe the address domain is my local wireless network. I have not been able to verify the device (38). Apparently Windows believes it must access a file or volume through the network in order to start up?? How can I turn this off or reset that pointer? Does anyone else have this problem?
