Parallels 12, Windows 10 Home, Mac OS El Capitan After trouble-free operation for years with various Parallels upgrades..... now having moved up to 12.... Windows incredibly slow to boot. The process gets as far as a blue screen (BootCamp?) with three icons bottom right, which then changes to a screen featuring green butterflies. No idea what that's about. Those butterflies stay there for up to 10-15 minutes; every now and then the screen has a blip. Then Windows randomly boots as it should. Windows is no longer updating automatically. I have to initiate the process manually. Windows is no longer checking for viruses - I'm no longer getting messages in the Action Centre pane. Windows is no longer making any of its sounds, apart from the boot sound. I've even lost my MS Word sounds. I'm unable to type in the Windows search field bottom left. Does any of this make sense? Thanks if you can help!
