Multiple W7 VMs vs. Shared VM

Hi all,

maybe this is a stupid question but I need your recommendation:

I have installed parallels with W7 successfully. Now I would like to create a new user and
as I have read there is a possiblity to share my current windows installation or to
create a new VM for this particular user.

To prevent misconfigurations done by the new user and to keep my windows installation
independent the question is?
Do you then recommend me to have a separate VM W7 for this new user and keep my
as it is or do you still recommend to share W7 because of other reasons (less administration etc.)

I guess the advantage w.r.t. doubling disk space is for me obsolete because I do not expect to
have any amount of diskspace problems in future.

What do you recommend?
 
Sharing VM may make your VM vulnerable to other user's actions. ANd the only reason i was going to suggest you to share it was actually a disk space. As far as you don't have this problem - it is safer for create a separate VM for each user

thanks for that answer.

I have already installed parallels in that way that many user can share Windows.

If I now want to instlal individual Windows 7 VMs is there a mechanism to prevent
sharing windows which mean move the /Users/Shared files in my user specific path.
