Hi, I'm running the latest build of Parallels, and in general things are working. However, I can't get the white square/main interface window to stay put so I can configure some changes - like turning off global sharing etc. When I click my Parallels/Windows OS Icon on my Mac desktop, the white square interface window appears and I have even tried to catch it with my mouse by clicking the stop button, but it just flips once and disappears and Windows XP starts up. Similarly, when I'm in XP and I use the opt/command keys to bring up the Parallels menus, the menus come up ok, but if I try to do 'Action/stop', XP stops alright, but that white interface window just flips into view for a second or two and it goes away. I've activated my install with my key, so I don't know what to do. I appreciate any help!! I WANT SOME CONTROL OVER PARALLELS HERE. Many Thanks, Frank B.
Nevermind...I figured it out. I needed to start my parallels desktop, and that allowed me to make changes. Btw, I was able to make changes in application and file sharing so that things go only one way: from Mac to Windows and not from Windows to Mac. Is this a new feature in the recent build? Because it seems like it might solve alot of security issues people have been talking about. Thanks, Frank B.
