I just downloaded Parallels 16 for the Mac, I also have Mac OS 10.15. However, when I try to start the VM it starts to resume, stops the progress at 45%, then I try to cancel the resuming and it won't cancel. So then I tried to downgrade back to Parallels 15 and it does the same thing. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong and what I need to do. Please if you have any experience or helpful advice respond. Thank you
Hi, do you have any backup copy of your VM? Could you please try to shut down it completely and start once again?
I do but it is old and I need files from the current VM for school. And when I try copying the current VM it can't finish because "Certain files could not be read"
It has now just fixed itself. I'm not sure what happened but O let it sit over a couple nights and it allowed me to finally stop the resume and restart the VM
