Oh my. Another day, another nag window.

Every time I get a nag window, I click "Do not show again". But I continue to get nag windows trying to sell me stuff - upgrades, third party software, great hot deals.

There is no stupidity on my part. I click "Do not show again" every single time, without fail. There's no misconfiguration and no ambiguity.

It rankles and annoys. It makes me hate using Parallels Desktop.

I don't pay for software in order to provide vendors with a mechanism for spamming me. I pay for software because I need it to perform specific tasks.

If purchased software spams me, I resent both it and the vendor who thought that stuffing this down my throat was a good idea. In case there is any confusion in the Parallels marketing department, I draw no distinction between this and ads for dubious-quality pharmaceuticals in my mailbox, and view each of them with equal and utter contempt.

Please, can someone from Parallels tell me how to switch this gratingly irritating misfeature off? For ever and for ever.

    thank you,
    Nick
