I just picked up a new Macbook Pro along with Parallels 3.0 and Windows XP. I have only "ONE" reason for wanting to run windows and that's because I need to run Internet Explorer (windows version) to be able to access my online banking. Mac version of IE will not work.
Yeah, where I live the banks online system's are not compatible with Mac's. As a matter of fact, even if you have windows you still have to run IE since their backwards set up will not even work with Firefox!
I want to keep things as simple as possible and was wondering if anyone can help me out on what would be the best way to set things up for my situation. I'm also concerned about security since I've never owned a windows machine before and I'm worried that having windows living on my computer will open up some holes in the system so any tips on how to handle that would be appreciated.
Thanks for any info.
