I'm so new with parallels that I'm not sure which forum to post in so I'll just throw out the first problem! I just switched from PCs at my office to Macs. Our contracted independent IT guy came in to do the setup. I have a new MacBook Pro. I have used the iBook G4 in the past. My IT guy installed Parallels. At the office all seems to work well. However, when I get home with the MacBook I cannot get an internet connection on the Windows side. The Mac side is fine since Airport quickly found my home wireless signal. On the Windows side when I look at my Network Connections I see the "Local Area Connection" which also says "Connected, Firewalled, Parallels Network Adapter". So I apparently have internet connection. However, I cannot connect Internet Explorer, Outlook or Timbuktu. There is no internet connection. Can someone help? Or if not perhaps direct me to the proper forum? I guess the question is if I am onine on the Mac side why can't I connect on the Windows side? Again--this is NOT a problem at my office where I also connect with a wireless signal.
Thank you.
