Need to install Parallels on new macbook but need old key as well as new key?

I need to install Parallels on my new Macbook, but apparently my version 9 key needs to have my version 8 key in order to work. The problem is that I cannot find the box for the old version anywhere. Is there any hope for me or should I just try a different program. This support system seems like an incredible mess of key-codes and support tickets and all that nonsense. I just need to get this to work. ugh.

Thanks for the help, but that key won't let me install it. That's the key that I already have. I don't have the key for 8 registered in there for some reason. Any further advise?
