    Hello,
I have been unable to find a solution online for this. I understand that the option to use nested virtualization was removed for M1 macs however I am on an Intel mac and the option is not there. with v.16.5.0(49183). Is it unavailable for Intel based now as well?

  2. Hello,
could you provide us with the screenshot of your virtual machine hardware -> CPU & memory tab settings please?
    Looking forward to your reply.

    Hi Maria,
It is the same exact thing seen if I switch the HV to Parallels. I apologize, I thought I had it set to Parallels when I took the screenshot.

  6. Please sorry for the misunderstanding, this this functionality not currently supported in Parallels Desktop on a Mac with Apple M1 chip
For more information please check this KB article.

    Hi Maria,

I must apologize for any misunderstanding as well. I am not using a Mac with an M1 chip. I am using a 16" 2019 Macbook Pro with an Intel chip. The software should be compatible with Intel based Macs correct?
