Network printing problems

I have a Xerox Phaser 8200 as a network printer. My Macs and PC's all see it and print to it with no problem. I was able to find it and install the printer driver in Parallels 3.0, but every time I try to print to it, it crashes the program I'm printing from (so far Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and .PDF files. After the crash is generates a message to Microsoft.

My Mac with Parallels is running 10.4.10 on a MacBook Pro with 2 gig of memory.

Any ideas on how to solve this problem?
