Network Problems in Parallel XP on Ubuntu

    Not sure if this is everyone elses problem

    I had a similar problem and was pretty frustrated.

    I switched to bridged ethernet on eth0 and everything started working (I did change my subnet on my Host OS from 10* to 192.168.* too).

    I am having this same problem. Windows XP guest OS installed on gutsy. The VM loads fine (a little slow, but fine) but the guest OS cannot get an IP address assigned.
