Networking glitch - Host SUSE 10.0 to Windows XP

Windows remote machine can access my Windows VM Guest via Lan - no problem
Windows Guest VM can access (and print on remote printer) remote Windows machine.

Remote Windows machine can access my Host SUSE machine.

However Host SUSE machine now can't access in any way the remote Windows machine -- I need to access the printer from the HOST.


Strange that my Virtual machine can access the remote Windows machine but the host can't even when i type the correct command as smb://mshome/ipaddress as root

When I'm not running the Virtual machine it works fine. :mad:

I've tried using Bridged and Host only networking -- same results.
 
Finally found it -- Not a Parallels problem at all. A BAD case of RTFM.
When running parallels I had different (Host) Firewall settings which caused the problem.
