New computer system resources not detected

I have upgraded from a MacBook Pro to a Mac Pro 2013. The number of cores has increased and the RAM as dramatically increased. I followed the straightforward instructions to copy the old .pvm file over to the new system and reinstalled Parallels (Version13).

When I start Parallels and run the old Windows 10 PVM file everything runs find, but when I look at the hardware configuration tab for the .pvm, it does not recognize the increased number of CPUs nor does it see any increase in RAM. It still shows only 4 CPUs max can be allocated and it shows only max RAM of 8 GB.

I would like to allocate more resources (especially RAM) to the virtual machine. Are these intrinsic maximum limits or is there an issue with Parallels not seeing the true system resources available?

 

I have solved my own question... the limits I am seeing are limits of the Mac Home Edition.
