New Macbook Pro Coming

I am ordering the 15" 2.33Ghz Core 2 Duo macbook pro with 160GB HDD... I want to give 30GB to Windows in Bootcamp so I install and run some games. I don't see myself using 120ish GB of Hard Drive Space for OS X anytime soon...

So what should be the first thing I should do once I open I first turn it on so I can get this latest build to work flawlessly. I know there are a lot of problems with the new build and bootcamp. How do I avoid those?

The first thing you should do is make sure you install a corporate copy of windows on boot camp so you can avoid the activation issue. If you don't have one, then you should just wait for this issue to be fixed before using the latest beta.
 
Make sure you read up on the new Bootcamp and see if it's working fine. So far, I haven't had any problems. Just play it safe... Don't rush the installation, etc...

Make sure you have a Corporate version of Windows XP. Corporate editions have Volume License Keys (VLKs) that don't require activation.

If you have a copy of XP bought from a store, you will be forced to re-activate your copy everytime you reboot from parallels to bootcamp and vice versa. Microsoft only lets you activate a certain amount of times before you are forced to call into their Activation line and do it manually. Even then, they'll only accept that method so many times as well.

There's currently no fix if you don't have a Corporate VLK, so you'll have to wait before using BOTH parallels and bootcamp with 1 XP install.

Basically, wait t'll Parallels releases a version that includes all these features and isn't in beta. Reading all these posts about people demanding support for a beta version kind of irks me. (I'm not saying you're one of them :)
