I am an ex-Linux user (for over 20 years) who recently moved to MacOS(Mac mini M1 chip using Ventura). I have a couple of old Linux ext3 disks where I still have some files that I forgot to put on my NAS when switching. My Linux box has died so I need to read those disks on my Mac. I understand that Parallels will enable me to create a Linux VM. My question is: can I mount my old ext3 disks as a USB drive (I have them in a USB enclosure) from the VM and then copy the files I need onto my NAS (or the local MacOS drive)? I haven't bought Parallels yet, I need to know it will work before spending the money!
