new RC not available from Check for Updates

I have a macbook pro running build 1862. I've tried to install the new RC using Check for Updates several times, but this always comes back with running the most up to date build.

I will install manually, just wanted to FYI the Parallels gang.

I think it's by design that only released versions will appear as a result of Check fro Updates.

That's not what the email announcing the RC says. Perhaps the email is in error.

EIther you got a different email than I did, or you mis-read it. Mine says this:

If you already have your copy of Parallels Desktop for Mac you'll never have to reinstall Windows or any applications with your update — simply download and install it over your existing version. When the final update is ready to go, all existing customers will be updated automatically! (Note: to check if auto-update is turned on, click "Help" in the Parallels menu bar, and click "Check for updates".)
