Brand new to Parallels, but not to Windows, but not a windows Geek either!!!
I have Windows XP Pro running on a Mac Pro 3.0 dual 2 core with 2GB Ram.
Installation of Parallels and the OS went fine. Windows seems to be running OK, and it sees my MAC CD drive.
However, I tried to install my copy of MS Office 2000 from the CD, it didn't auto-run as I expected it to do, but opened up the cd instead.
I clicked the Install Icon in the CD but got a message saying the 'Windows Installer service could not be accessed This can occur if you are running in Safe Mode, or if Windows Installer was not correctly installed....' , so I couldn't install the program.
I never had this type of a problem in the past with this CD or any other Windows OS. (98, 2000, XP Home)

Any Ideas on solving this problem would be much appreciated.

    Paul
